SAP Cloud Basis Engineer
What we need:
• Strong knowledge of Unix, Linux and Windows operating systems
• At least 2 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA Public and Private Cloud environments as well as SAP BTP
• At least 4 years of experience in system administration of SAP NetWeaver/ABAP Platform and database servers, including SAP HANA
• Extensive knowledge in installation, configuration and update of SAP instances, applications and DB servers for SAP ERP
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent documentation and presentation skills
• Ability to self-organize and prioritize tasks
• Good team player
• Proficiency in English
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• SAP Certifications for SAP HANA, S/4HANA, SAP BTP, ABAP Platform and Security Administration are a plus
Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare, and guide installations of SAP systems
• Design and implement optimal SAP configurations to maximize system performance, availability and reliability
• Create, set up and maintain multiple SAP instances comprising an SAP environment – both customers’ and internal
• Plan and apply upgrades and kernel patches to SAP and DB systems within an SAP landscape
• Plan and execute system refresh and backup activities
• Perform SAP client administration (create, copy, delete, export/import)
• Manage user and role authorizations
• Establish SAP Security processes, governance and best practices for ECC, HANA, Fiori, Solution Manager, CHaRM and Portal Security
• Consult customers in SAP Basis Administration topics
• Configure SAP environments with cloud service providers
• Monitor, analyze, trace and distribute workload following SAP best practices
• Analyze and solve problems related to SAP environment settings
• Provide coaching to junior and client personnel assigned to projects
